Votes

Fact Number 1.
And this is possibly the most important fact for any American to know. -- If
you go to the polls to help decide between a Democrat and a Republican, you
are wasting your vote. Even if it is tied at exactly 50/50 and your single
vote makes the difference, you have still wasted your vote because there is
no difference. Come on, America, get a clue. National politics is even more
phony than professional wrestling. If we replace Bush with Kerry, the world
might believe we are apologizing for Bush. Then, after the inauguration,
they will realize nothing has changed. And, nothing will be changed! Only
the rhetoric is different. Switching parties has had NO EFFECT on any of the
"wars" our government is waging on America and on the world. If you shut
your ears to the rhetoric and open your eyes to reality, you will
immediately see that I am correct in presenting this fact.
Fact Number 2.
The election is scheduled for Nov 2. I use the word "scheduled" because it
may not happen if America wakes up to Fact Number 1. A vote could not
possibly be more wasted than by casting it for a Democrat or a Republican.
That is an even bigger waste than not voting at all. Don't feel bad about
taking votes from either branch of tyranny, especially if you are voting for
freedom.
Fact Number 3.
It's time to stop worrying about Muslim terrorists and start worrying about
American terrorists. I'm talking about two sets of American terrorists,
those in the government enforcing all those "wars" on us, and those in the
populace (Remember McVeigh?) who are rapidly giving up on restoring America
without a violent revolution. You go ahead and worry about some Muslim
flying an American jetliner into a skyscraper. I'm worried about some
American sending an American nuke into a skyscraper. The "war" may be about
to enter an entirely new phase.
I'm quitting my job and betting everything I am and have on the hope and
dream that America can still be restored peacefully, through the political
process. As a pacifist, I must believe that all violence is failure, even
violence against tyranny.
Yes, that's right. Yesterday, my boss and I agreed and I will be
"terminated" at the end of the month. What good is a job if I suspect there
is something I might have done to make the difference for a peaceful
solution? Perhaps I will live in poverty. But, what good are material
possessions without freedom?
