Were you listening to your President? In one part of his speech, he said we must continue fighting terrorism abroad so we won't have to fight it in America. I take that to mean if we don't elect him, and then Kerry handles the war on terrorism badly, we will suffer terrorist attacks in America. Isn't that the same as threatening us with terrorist attacks if we don't elect him? Am I going too far when I suggest that Bush has used the threat of terrorism to prompt the people to vote out of fear? Is that putting our President very close to the dictionary definition of "terrorist"?

If the world believes we have re-elected Bush for that reason, why wouldn't some other country attack America with the intent of making it look like their enemy did it? Everyone who has a neighboring enemy will be tempted to strike us and then say, "He did it." Don't we get it? Going to war over an act of terrorism makes terrorism more likely, not less. It's like paying a blackmailer. There are intelligent ways to deal with terrorism. World conquest is not one of them. Neither is Kerry the answer.
