I'm composing an essay tentatively entitled "Ten Reasons to Stop Supporting Republicans." Can you give me three reasons which are important to you?

Thanks.

I don't recall. It's been so long, 1964, since I supported a Republican, Goldwater. Okay, seriously, here's the list of fundamental principles of Americanism given by our Founders in 1776:

1. We are all equal. That means there are no masters and nobody is forced to be a slave.

2. Each of us is born with inalienable rights, including life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. That means the government cannot violate your right to do whatever you please, as long as you don't harm others.

3. The only purpose of government is to secure each individual's rights. That means it is not the job of government to take care of us or tell us what to do, including how to marry.

4. All just power of government comes from the people. That means we are not one nation under God. We are one nation under the people. Then each individual person relates how they wish with God or Goddess.

5. When government gets out of line, it is the job of the people to fix it, or even, if necessary, to replace it.

So, which one of those fundamental principles is not a sufficient reason to stop supporting Republicans (or Democrats)?
