Briefly (I know you're pretty busy about now), what is
your position/thoughts on Initiative One?

I believe I am the
only gubernatorial candidate on the ballot who opposes Initiative One.
In the first place it is a tax increase and I have signed a solemn promise
to oppose and veto any new tax or tax increase. In the second place,
none of the purposes listed in the initiative is a legitimate function of
government. In the second paragraph of the Declaration of Independence
we read that the only just purpose of government is to secure the
inalienable rights of individuals. Nothing proposed in Initiative One
does that. It violates the principles of our Founders and my adherence
to those principles puts me squarely against
Initiative One.
Thank you,
Ken Larsen, Candidate for
Governor

candidate on the Personal
Choice Party ballot speaks only for him- or her-self.
